Mosaic Time

What's up, people? I'm am really excited today because we did the first session of passion projects! I am doing mosaics. You should all know what mosaics are but just incase, mosaics are a type of art where you usually use tiles and make a picture, letter, number, shape and lots more. You use a special glue to glue the tiles down and then fill in the gaps with a thing called grout. I am going to be making a G and L ( I've already got a B ) and then I will have all my initials.

Good-Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you a perfectionism?

Yes, it thought I would be with all those lists of what you would do if you were one. They all just sounded exactly like me! I had just taken a test on perfectionism and at the end of it I turned out to like everything to be perfect. We had looked at a slideshow that explained what a person that likes everything to be perfect ( like me! ) would do. It was things like if you had a project you would have to make it exactly as it says on a criteria you were given or if you were in a group you would always have to be the leader. I am not always perfect though.

After lunch I am going to do brainboosters and thinking on your feet. They are both with Jenni and so was perfectionism.

Good-Bye!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE MINUTE TO GO!

"Giddy up horsey!" I said as the horse moved." Now, if I move you I will be able to get their Queen but I will lose my bishop. Oh well,  a Queen's better than a bishop"I said to the pawn.

I was playing chess (obviously). I hadn't played chess in a long time so I was quite excited. I was white and Neave was black. I killed her Queen and as I had predicted, she killed my bishop. We kept on playing. It was a bit different for me because for once I had a game plan. Then Katie yelled"One minute to go." My new game plan was kill as many of her people as possible because I knew we wouldn't get it finished. 30 seconds,  20 seconds, 15 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, 1 second... BOOM! The music started and we added up the points. I got 20 points and Neave got 19. It was really close.

We do chess at Enrich because it gets our brains thinking and you have to make strategies and game plans (though I don't which is why I normally lose).
