It's a very hard puzzle that's in newspapers...

" What could I do for 'do' " I groaned. "Mmm" said Jenni.  I know you could do, "I want to ? a puzzle." "OK." I was doing my very very very very hard crossword. Over Labour weekend I had finished filling in all my words so I had to move on to writing in the clues. You might think it is easy to do a crossword but it's not.  I have had a very hard couple of weeks trying complete this tricky crossword. The clues are going to be hard to write because some of the words I don't even know what they mean! Today was the last lesson, I didn't finish it but they were saying they are going to run it again. This is what it looks like. 

 

Jingle bells, jingle bells...

Dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh!!! No I don't think Halloween has the same songs as Christmas, but I do know that I'll have 5 weeks or maybe longer to learn an 8 minute Christmas carol medley!!! So that's why I am humming a whole lot of Christmas carols. Lots of them are really, really, really old. In 5 or 6 weeks we are to go to the outside of New World in Windsor. Nicola says there will be 2 old ladies and a dog but I don't think so. I am really, really, really excited.

Hic-up!

Hic-cough, hic-cough Hic-cough. "Would you stop that!" growls "Nicla". (She didn't really growl) Yes you guessed it - I had the hiccoughs all the whole day! "Nicla" got me to drink a glass of water... BACKWARDS! I found it quite fun after a while,  but it is very messy.

Also at Enrich today we had talent development. We had just done a performance so it was a fun day. I didn't do the performance because I was too busy. I was on garageband the whole time. I made a song called BB's song. It is really really really really really really random.

Past Present Future

Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock. "Bla, bla, bla and he thinks that time is your past, present and future." I picked up interesting parts ... and practically pretended I didn't hear the boring parts. Did you know that time isn't just clocks and watches? Because it isn't! It is things like the sun and how it goes up and down. It also is your past, present and future. What do you think if everybody in the world all of a sudden got lifted out of the world ? Yes everything will stay the same until you return to earth. Have a think about it. Will you?

Click, click

Click click, snap snap was the sound booming in my ear. Yes you guessed it we had to take some photos for performance. It sounds simple but...it's a nightmare!!! I paired up with Lucy and we went outside to take some photos. A while later we were taking the last photos when...the battery went dead!  We went inside to change the battery. Then after we changed it, it still wouldn't work. We kept on trying to find a camera but we couldn't find one. Finally Lucy said "I've found one." I was relieved. This is called task commitment because we're sticking to the task and kept on trying to find a camera.   

DJ ME!

Boom,boom, cha,cha,cha. Today I was a DJ at the Enrich studio and made one crazy song! It was crazy because I chose random things to go in it. It was about 70 beats long. I just about burst laughing when I heard it the first and last time. We had to make one song in half an hour. Seeing as I forgot to listen to the beats before I put it in the song one bit was hilarious. I wish I could be a real DJ.  Also this morning I did a rotation. In the rotation we did Prezi. Prezi is a website that you can make a project on. We have to do a project on a gifted person so Prezi is one of our options.

 

Impossible or is it?

Who knows if planet earth will just be like a country. I'll live on Jupiter and have a holiday house in Neptune. Imagine if someone made everything hover in air. I'd want the highest house. Have you thought that people 100 years ago would think it would be impossible to land on the moon? Now Neil Armstrong and many more have done it. The point is things we think of like flying instead of walking are impossible but it's not - if only someone knew how to do it, we'd all be able to do it! I learned this in Jenni's P4C (philosophy for children) lesson.
