Field Trip

"Wouldn't this be a pattern " "Wouldn't that be a pattern"I kept on asking Darryn and my Mum as we were scuttling to Queens Park. We were in our dark red Enrich T-shirts. Enrich were going to look for patterns at Queens Park and on the way there. We were split into groups. In my group there were 8 students, Darryn, my Mum and Travis's Dad. My buddy was Grace. We took 50 photos of patterns. The patterns we were looking for were patterns of beauty, order, strength and survivability. Also known as B.O.S.S. That was all we did today. We did it because patterns is are concept curriculum.

La la la la la

La, la, la, la, la. I went to Nicola for a music lesson. We had to do a challenging bit of work that contained learning the notes of the alphabet that are also needed in the music that is played and sang. We also learnt a piece of music that we had to sing and dance to. It was called My Life Would Suck Without You. We had to do 5 hard challenges. I had finished the whole lot of them. I was the person who had to teach the dance but it wasn't that specific. We did music at Enrich because you have to learn the notes (which is hard).

Dance

It just stopped again and Grace is out!  The music starts again and we get up to boogie. Then it stops and we fall down. We lift back up into the air and lower onto the "stage''. We're playing musical bumps.

When you hear the music you have react fast and go straight down to the ground. I think it's called musical bumps because you dance to music and you bump hard onto the ground. To play it you put some music on and dance but when the music stops down to the ground you go.The last one to the ground is out. The winning player is the one who dances the longest or is the last one there.

I loved this game because I love to dance and it made me feel really happy!
